If anyone in the Chicago area would like to share a ride and hotel room, I was planning on leaving early Sat to head down in time, but could go Fri night if you wanted to.

Wow, was this event fantastic or what! I didn't know that a facility such as this was so close to Iowa. If you didn't make it to Springfield this time, be sure to put it on your agenda for next year. The staff from Anglers Workshop demo'd how to assemble lures, in addition to walking us through their casting and lure formation process. We even got to see hot lead being poured and spun, and lures being painted. I picked out new feather for my deco processes and am even going to try my hand at making a few lures. Of course nothing beats getting together with friends over dinner, so in my book this event was a huge success. Hats off to AW!

I totally agree with Becky L. on this event. It was fantastic, the hospitality by Anglers Workshop was great, the setting was fabulous and the event went very well. The staff went out of their way to work with us and to please us each step along the way! Thanks Anglers Workshop!

May your lines be tight and your beverages be cold!
