I have never thought about leather grips. What a great idea. I know they sell leather kits for building everything from belts to moccasians. I dont know why aperson could not buy leather and epoxy it directly to cork or EVA, or even better, I think it would be really beautiful on split grips to fill the split area like a snake skin inlay. You could actually lace it on giving a really great effect. It opens an entirely new door to any tanned hide from deer hide to rabbit fur or any short hair furred varmit. Keep us posted on what you do with this. I really like this idea.
