Hook keeper

was fishing with a fellow NERB (Dan M) and he was watching me catch my hook on one of the guides. He asked me why I didn't have a hook keeper on my pole; I replied that I didn't have room with the way I finished my wraps. He suggested installing the hook keeper in the fore grip, this is the first attempt at building a hook keeper into the grip. I kind of like it, but think that there is a better way to do this. Any ideas are more than welcome as this is only a prototype.

Mark, I like the concept of 'hiding' the hook keeper within the grip. Previously I have wrapped a small guide as a hook keeper within the cross wrap pattern. can't find the picture right now!!
