Red Rattler Baitcaster

This is my 2nd rod f/ scratch. My first "big project" rod. It is a 6'-6" IM6 graphite rod, fast action, medium power baitcaster. Inlay is diamond back rattlesnake and the head is the head of a prairie rattlesnake. The reel is loaded with 12 # red magicbraid. Eight fireball red guides & tip-top. The reel seat, winding checks and butt are a matching red. Theguides are set on rattlesnake and wrapped with black and metallic red thread. I am really pleased with how it turned out!!! This is so much fun!

That is a very fine job for just your second rod. I am very impressed. Welcome to the addiction!
