Foam Dragon Inlay

I've never done these before. Kind of a fun (if frustrating) way to decorate a rod grip. Now I have to cut out some yellow, orange and red foam for flames then inset it. One learning challenge after another!

Dang Ken, that looks great.

This was done with a paper punch that I found in a craft store (along with an 8.5 x 11" piece of foam). Insetting into the EVA was done with a dremel motor tool and diamond jeweler's bits. The first attempt with the dremel at gouging out the center was NOT good. I had the speed set too high. Now I plan on trying this in a cork foregrip. I think that will turn out better.

Looks really good, Ken. How did it finally turn out in the ol' end run?
